DEFINITION
The Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) lets employees claim compensation for work-related injuries or illness without going to court. Employers must maintain WICA insurance for all Work Permit and S Pass holders, and for manual workers regardless of salary. It is a compulsory protection for foreign workers.
