IPA — In-Principle Approval

in-principle approval • IPA letter
DEFINITION
An In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter is issued by the Ministry of Manpower when a work-pass application is approved. It lets the worker enter Singapore and sets out the declared salary and conditions. It is not the pass itself — the employer must complete arrival steps before the pass is issued.
