DEFINITION
Fixed monthly salary is the basic salary plus fixed monthly allowances that an employer commits to pay, excluding overtime, bonuses, commissions and reimbursements. The Ministry of Manpower uses it to assess pass eligibility and quota counting. It is the figure declared in the pass application and IPA.
