DEFINITION
A Work Permit lets employers hire semi-skilled foreign workers in sectors such as construction, manufacturing, marine shipyard, process and services. It has no fixed minimum salary but is subject to a sector quota (DRC), a monthly levy, and approved source-country rules. It cannot be used for professional or managerial roles.
