DEFINITION
The Dependency Ratio Ceiling (DRC) is the maximum share of your total workforce that can be foreign workers on Work Permits and S Passes, set by the Ministry of Manpower and varying by sector. Exceed it and you cannot renew existing passes or hire more. Your local headcount determines your quota.
