Work-pass compliance retainer for Singapore employers

If you employ several foreign workers or pass holders, staying on top of expiries, renewals and changing rules is a job in itself. Our compliance retainer takes it off your plate — tracking every work-pass expiry, managing renewals, rechecking COMPASS and quota positions, and keeping you ahead of the deadlines. One point of contact, a fixed retainer.

The service

What is a compliance retainer?

A compliance retainer is an ongoing arrangement where we look after your work-pass compliance year-round, instead of you calling only when something’s due. We track every pass and its expiry, recheck eligibility and COMPASS, watch your quota and levy position, and handle renewals and applications as they come up — so nothing lapses by surprise and you’re not scrambling at a deadline.
Who it's for

Who is a compliance retainer for?

It’s for employers with more than a handful of foreign workers or pass holders — across Work Permits, S Passes and Employment Passes — especially where expiry dates are scattered through the year and the headcount is growing. If keeping track of who needs what, and when, has become its own task, a retainer turns it into someone else’s job. Smaller, one-off needs suit our per-service options instead.
What's covered

What does the retainer cover?

The retainer covers the ongoing work of staying compliant: tracking pass expiries, managing renewals, rechecking COMPASS for Employment Pass, monitoring your quota and levy position as your headcount changes, handling Fair Consideration advertising when you hire, and keeping you advised when the rules move. You get a single point of contact who already knows your situation.

Pass-expiry tracking across WP, S Pass and EP

Renewal management, flagged ahead of time

COMPASS rechecks for EP and S Pass holders

Quota & levy monitoring as headcount changes

FCF advertising when you hire

Advisory when rules or figures change

One point of contact who knows your case

Why does ongoing compliance matter?

Because the rules don’t stand still and the deadlines don’t wait. Levy rates, quota ratios, COMPASS criteria and salary floors all change, and each change can affect who you can keep and what it costs. A missed renewal can mean a lost worker at the worst time; repeated lapses can draw closer scrutiny. Staying ahead of all of it, steadily, is far cheaper than fixing problems after they land.
How it works

How does the retainer work?

We start with an onboarding review of your current passes, quota and levy position, so we both know where you stand. From there we track expiries and flag what’s coming, handle renewals and applications as they arise, and check in on a regular cycle — plus whenever a MOM change affects you. You always have a current picture.

Fees

What does it cost?

A fixed retainer, quoted upfront and scaled to your headcount and how much you want us to handle — or you can use our per-service options for one-off renewals and applications instead. Statutory and government costs are separate. We confirm the retainer for your situation before anything starts, after the onboarding review.

Compliance retainer — common questions

It's an ongoing arrangement where we manage your work-pass compliance year-round — tracking expiries, handling renewals, rechecking COMPASS, and monitoring quota and levy — instead of you reaching out only when something is already due.

Employers with more than a few foreign workers or pass holders, particularly where expiry dates are spread across the year or the headcount is growing. If keeping track has become its own job, a retainer takes it off your plate.

Yes. It covers all three — tracking expiries, managing renewals, rechecking COMPASS for Employment Pass holders, and monitoring salary, quota and levy positions for S Pass and Work Permit holders.

No — we can't promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What a retainer does is sharply reduce the risk: nothing lapses unnoticed, renewals are handled in good time, and you're warned when the rules change.

A fixed retainer scaled to your headcount and how much you want us to handle, quoted upfront after an onboarding review. Statutory costs are separate. We confirm the figure before anything starts.

Yes. If you only need an occasional renewal or application, our per-service options fit better. The retainer makes sense once tracking and renewals across several passes have become a recurring burden.

We review your current passes, quota and levy position, and renewal calendar, so we both start with a clear, accurate picture. From there we track what's coming and handle it as it arises.
