Work Permit & S Pass
renewal service
Keep your workers on the job without a lapse. We manage Work Permit and S Pass renewals end to end — checking continued eligibility, quota and levy, confirming S Pass candidates still meet the salary and COMPASS bar, and submitting the renewal in good time. One missed renewal can cost you a worker; we make sure it doesn’t.
What does the renewal service include?
Renewals aren’t automatic — eligibility, quota, levy and, for S Passes, the salary and COMPASS
position can all change between application and renewal. We review where you stand, confirm
the worker still qualifies, check your quota and levy, prepare and submit the renewal, and flag
any issue early enough to fix it. The aim is simple: no lapse, no lost worker.

Who is this service for?
This is for employers with workers already on a Work Permit or S Pass who want renewals
handled properly and on time — especially if you have several workers with different expiry
dates, or an S Pass holder whose COMPASS position may have shifted. We can manage renewals
as a one-off or keep track of expiries across your whole foreign workforce.
How does the renewal process work?
We start well before expiry. We review the worker’s continued eligibility, your quota and levy,
and — for S Passes — the salary and COMPASS position, since these can change. We prepare and
submit the renewal, track it, and keep you informed. Starting early is the whole point: it leaves
time to fix a problem before it costs you the worker.

Work-pass renewal — common questions
Q1: When should I start a work-pass renewal?
Well before expiry. Eligibility, quota, levy and COMPASS can change, and starting early leaves time to address any issue before the pass lapses. We send reminders ahead of expiry.
Q2: Can an S Pass renewal be refused?
Yes — renewals aren’t automatic, and a changed salary or COMPASS position can affect them. We recheck these before submitting so you’re not caught out at renewal.
Q3: Can you track renewals for all my workers?
Yes. We can manage renewals as one-offs or track expiry dates across your whole foreign workforce so nothing slips. Ask about a retainer if you have a larger headcount.
Q4: What happens if a work pass lapses?
A lapse can mean the worker can no longer legally work, with knock-on cost and compliance consequences. The point of this service is to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Q5: What does it cost?
A fixed professional fee per renewal, quoted upfront; a retainer for larger volumes. Statutory costs are separate. Message us for a quote.
