Hire Indian workers
for Singapore

We recruit Indian Work Permit and S Pass workers for Singapore employers through licensed recruitment partners in India. From construction trades to service and technical roles, we source and screen candidates at origin, verify their documents before they travel, and manage the application through to deployment. A clean, transparent recruitment chain — start with a free quota check below.

Why hire workers from India?

India is one of Singapore’s approved Non-Traditional Source countries, with a large, English- speaking workforce across construction trades, services, care and technical roles. For employers, the appeal is the breadth of skills available and the size of the talent pool. The difference is in how the recruitment is run: we work through licensed partners in India, verify documents at source, and keep the chain transparent from first interview to your worker’s arrival.

Licensed partners in India

We recruit through partners who hold the licences required to recruit and deploy workers from India, so the chain is compliant on both sides.

Documents verified at source

Qualifications, identity and trade certificates are checked at origin, before a worker travels — not discovered to be wrong on arrival.

A transparent recruitment chain

Every step, from selection to IPA, is documented. You hire with a recruitment trail you can stand behind.

What kinds of workers can I hire from India?

India can supply workers across most Singapore Work Permit sectors, plus S Pass technical roles, subject to each sector’s source-country rules. Construction, marine and process can recruit Indian Work Permit workers directly; services can hire specific roles under the NTS Occupation List, expanding from September 2026. We confirm which of your roles are eligible to be filled from India before sourcing begins, so you never build a plan on a role that doesn’t qualify.

Construction & trades

General workers, bar benders, formworkers, and certified trades (with BCA testing arranged in India).

Marine & process

Welders, fitters, riggers and plant trades, with trade testing at source.

Services (NTS-OL)

F&B, cleaning and care roles where eligible — expanding September 2026.

S Pass technical

Technicians and supervisors meeting the S Pass salary and COMPASS bar.

How does recruiting a worker from India work?

Recruiting from India runs through the same Singapore application as any Work Permit hire, with the sourcing, testing and document steps handled on the India side first. We shortlist through our partners, you select, candidates complete trade testing and the medical, documents are verified and emigration formalities cleared, and then the worker travels on the In-Principle Approval. We coordinate both ends so the India-side steps don’t hold up your Singapore timeline.

What makes a recruitment chain from India compliant?

A compliant India corridor means following the rules on both sides: Singapore’s Employment Agencies Act and work-pass requirements, and India’s own rules on recruiting and deploying workers overseas. We work only with partners who hold the licences required in India, keep documentation complete and verifiable, and follow the emigration clearance process where it applies. For you, that means a recruitment chain that stands up to scrutiny — important for your own compliance and reputation.

This matters beyond good practice. Employers are accountable for how their workers were recruited, and a clean, documented chain protects you. It’s also why ESG-conscious companies increasingly ask how their workers were sourced — and why we can answer that question clearly.

Hiring Indian workers — common questions

Yes. India is an approved Non-Traditional Source country for Singapore Work Permits in sectors including construction, marine and process. Services can hire specific roles from India under the NTS Occupation List, which expands in September 2026. We confirm eligibility for your exact roles before sourcing.
A wide range — construction and marine trades, process roles, eligible service and care roles, and S Pass technical positions. India’s workforce is large and English-speaking, which suits many Singapore roles. We match candidates to your trade, experience and language requirements.
We recruit through licensed partners in India and verify qualifications, identity and trade certificates at source, before a worker travels. Skilled trades are tested — for example BCA testing for construction — so you’re not relying on paperwork alone.
It depends on the trade, testing, document verification and emigration formalities, alongside the Singapore application. We coordinate the India-side steps in parallel where possible and give you a realistic timeline for your specific roles before you commit.
Yes, when done properly. We follow Singapore’s rules and work with partners who hold the licences required in India, with documentation verified and emigration clearance followed where it applies. A clean, documented chain protects you as the employer.
From September 2026, more food and beverage and care roles open to Non-Traditional Source countries, including India, under the expanded NTS Occupation List. See our F&B & caregivers page for the detail.
